Investing in Your Well-Being
Counseling is an investment in your future and can greatly improve your mental and physical well-being. The benefits you receive from therapy will not end at your last session. They continue throughout your life as you accomplish your goals and move forward with a more confident, empowered version of yourself.

Insurance requires a medical diagnosis, which becomes part of your permanent health record. Many plans do not cover career counseling or couples, relationship, or marriage counseling because they are not considered medically necessary.
Insurance companies may:
Limit the number of sessions you are allowed
Restrict which therapy modalities they will cover
Request clinical notes to approve claims
Reject claims without clear explanation
Co-pays may range from $30–$75, and many plans do not contribute until your deductible is met. We always recommend checking your in-network benefits first. You may find that the cost difference between in-network and out-of-network providers is smaller than expected.
-
If we are not in-network with your plan, you may still have out-of-network benefits, which can reimburse 50–80% of session costs.
Here’s how it works:
You pay our regular self-pay fee.
We provide a receipt (superbill).
You submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.
To check your benefits, call your insurance company and ask whether your policy reimburses for out-of-network mental health services.
-
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept:
Major credit cards
Cash
Check
FSA and HSA cards
-
If you cannot attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you may be charged the full session fee.
