Psychiatric Medication Management in Cincinnati
Compassionate Care That Actually Listens
You know you need help. You've been trying to find a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner in the Cincinnati area who actually gets it. But so far, it’s been one disappointment after another.
Perhaps your last provider spent barely ten minutes with you before writing a prescription and rushing you out the door—never once asking about your sleep, nutrition, stress levels, or what actually matters most to you. You left feeling like just another number, not a person.
Or maybe it took months just to get that disappointing appointment. You called and left messages over and over, wondering if anyone would ever call you back. When you're struggling with your mental health, waiting that long for help isn't just frustrating—it can feel hopeless.
Maybe your provider only offered telehealth appointments when what you really needed was to sit across from someone in person, to feel that human connection that's so hard to find through a screen.
Or perhaps you were prescribed medications that simply didn't work—or made you feel worse. Uncomfortable side effects that nobody warned you about left you wondering if you should stop taking them or push through, with no guidance on what to do next.
And maybe worst of all, that nagging sense that something's missing—that your provider doesn't quite understand what you're going through, or that your concerns aren't being fully heard. You want to feel a real connection with your provider, not just like they're checking boxes.
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you deserve so much better.
“You’re not a diagnosis to be medicated. You’re a whole person who deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with care.”
Welcome to Medication Management That Feels Different
At Therapy Cincinnati, we've built our psychiatric medication management services around one simple truth: you are not a diagnosis to be medicated. You're a whole person who deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with genuine care.
Taylor Hausfeld, PMHNP-BC, our board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, provides the kind of psychopharmacology and medication management you’ve been searching for throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky—whether you're in Montgomery, Blue Ash, Mason, West Chester, Hyde Park, Oakley, Loveland, or Indian Hill.
What Makes Our Psychiatric Medication Management Different
We Actually Talk with You
Your initial evaluation lasts a full hour—not the ten-minute rush you may have experienced elsewhere. Taylor takes the time to understand your full story: your mental health history, medications you’ve tried, lifestyle, stressors, and treatment goals.
Follow-up sessions (20–30 minutes) give you space to share how you’re doing, discuss side effects, and make adjustments together. It’s a real conversation, not a quick transaction.
An Integrative, Functional Approach to Mental Health
We don’t just throw pills at problems. Taylor uses a holistic, functional medicine approach that considers sleep, nutrition, exercise, and underlying biological factors. Lab work, supplements, and therapy coordination help create a full picture of your mental health.
When you’re also working with a therapist, Taylor collaborates to ensure your care is aligned. This team-based, whole-person approach leads to better long-term outcomes.
You Can Get an Appointment Quickly
Most new patients are seen within one week or less. We know that waiting weeks or months for help can make symptoms worse. Whether you’re facing depression, anxiety, postpartum changes, or burnout, you deserve timely support.
