Kelsey Harlow Headshot

Hi, my name is Kelsey and I’m a Licensed Social Worker.

I provide individual therapy to adults of all ages, however I specialize in working with those who identify as women ages 20-40 who are looking for reproductive mental health support. Often, people experiencing trauma after the loss of a baby or a difficult pregnancy and birth and stressors such as infertility may feel isolated from others. I know from my own personal and professional experiences that this is a tender topic for which many feel uncomfortable to seek help. The fear of being misunderstood or judged can be limiting. They might not feel as though what they are struggling with could benefit from therapy because society doesn’t always recognize these issues as serious.

I can help them talk through and deal with their grief and trauma, to explore the complex emotions that are commonly experienced, and rebuild their self-esteem and find value in themselves. I believe that helping these amazing women work through their pain can allow them to feel stronger in themselves and become a better person, partner, and mother.

I have a unique perspective as both someone who has personal experience with perinatal trauma, miscarriage, and infertility and someone who has professional experience in helping those with a history of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have experience working with a wide variety of concerns and have decided to specialize in this area due to lack of support when I was seeking it for myself.

I want clients who work with me to feel like they’ve found a safe place to land after their world was forever altered by circumstances that are often out of their control.  I want my clients to feel like they’ve found someone that will understand where they’re coming from and a place to begin healing to move forward with whatever is next on their journey."
