ABOUT
Hello and welcome!
My name is Kelsey Harlow, and I’m a licensed social worker who is deeply committed to helping people understand themselves and their inner lives. Perhaps you feel stuck, preoccupied with negative thoughts, and unsure of where to start to make a change for your mental health. Maybe feelings of depression, anxiety, and overwhelm are getting in the way of doing the things that mean the most to you.
With a holistic and neurodivergent-affirming perspective, I use trauma approaches like EMDR, somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems to help people struggling with symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and burn out. Oftentimes, we are carrying around stories about ourselves and the world that we may not realize are weighing us down.
I work in a way that recognizes how our experiences and environment shape who we are. As a social worker I am well aware of how burdensome systems affect us on a deeply personal level. I have a special interest in working with parents and those who recognize neurodivergent tendencies and patterns within themselves. Through a trauma-informed and affirming approach, I’ve helped clients go from overwhelmed and struggling to get through the day to learning how to become grounded and emotionally connected to themselves and others. I’m passionate about helping clients improve their relationships with themselves to better connect to the world around them and make real changes they will continue to build on long after therapy concludes.
